This abstract piece of fine art photography can be considered both botanical and figurative artwork. Desert plants, such as cacti and succulents, often form interesting architectural shapes and patterns of light and shadows can play tricks on your eye. Is it a close-up of a leaf or a subtle hint of a human form? The human tendency to see the "hidden" meaning of images, or pareidolia, may play a part in this botanical abstraction which is open to interpretation.
