Delicate and pretty anemone flowers are soft, gentle and very colorful. We took advantage of the fact that their vibrant colors translate well into black and white. This monochrome floral macro features a close-up of beautifully sculptured anemone poppy flower after rain, covered with water drops sparkling in the sun. Black flower center, black background, all shades of white and gray on the petals create a visually rich and lovely piece of botanical fine art photography.
Japanese anemone plants bloom in fall instantly turning a garden into a paradise. Many anemone plant species are native to Europe, North America and Japan. Anemone flower is also called windflower due to its connection to Greek mythology, prophetic tales and magical fairies.
