Pink Plumeria Trio - from Flowers Of Paradise series, by award-winning artists Ben and Raisa Gertsberg, aka BRG, who collaborate under the name It's a Beautiful World!
Plumeria, also known as frangipani or lei flowers, are frequently found in warm tropical areas of the Pacific, especially the islands of Hawaii. This pretty flower was named after Charles Plumier, a seventeenth century botanist. One of the perfume makers' favorites, the plumeria is a fairly easy to grow deciduous shrub or small tree. It requires no special care and rewards the gardener with its rich, seductive scent and beautifully colored flowers. The delicate blossoms can be found in shades of white, pink, yellow and red, or various combinations of these colors. This plant is also called Temple Flower and the tree is known as Temple Tree or Pagoda Tree.
