This well hidden corner looks both mysterious and inviting. Chairs on the foreground suggest that people may have stopped here to sit, rest and look around.

Did they take the pathway leading to the iron gate, did they see the light coming from the abandoned backyard with a mysterious orange circle painted on the brick wall? Did the street look bright and sunny from the black and dark alley?

What they saw we do not know but this place and this moment captured makes you imagine strange events that might have happened here in the past or is it just an optical illusion?

Ben and Raisa Gertsberg are a husband and wife artist duo. They create original acrylic paintings, digital fine art and fine art photography and collaborate under the name It's a Beautiful World!
