Also known as Anigozanthos, this is an Australian perennial plant, it is no wonder the speices is now very popular in Southern California.

Nature never fails to surprise by its striking variety of unexpected shapes, textures and colors. These red flowers remind us of little sculptured abstract hands or paws, velvety blooms are growing at the top of long bare stalks, with tiny and intricate green starlets in the center.
