This stunning bloom with soft delicate round petals was named in honor of the botanist Georg Joseph Kamel. The flower comes from an evergreen plant which is usually a small tree or a bush.

Camellia blossoms are very sensual, their large petals have gentle curves and come in many bright shades of red, scarlet, crimson, pink and burgundy. In Chinese symbolism the camellia flower represents love, passion, desire, devotion and refinement. It is also considered a symbol of perfection.
