False Creek Racing Canoe Club in Vancouver, British Columbia, is located not far from the Telus World Of Science Museum. Six slim and colorful dragon canoes were moored there, with bright colors of the museum's building reflected in the waters of the creek.
The row of racing boats, their details and the wooden dock, along with stripes of the upside down water reflections, create intriguing geometric patterns, giving this nautical still life a semi-abstract look and feel. The artwork features a rainbow of colors - red, blue, yellow, green, orange, white, brown and gray.
